Simple Nutrition Tips & Info

As I’m working with my clients, many of them will bring up questions about diet/nutrition – tips for weight-loss, what to eat, when to eat, intermittent fasting, gut health, etc.  Along with sleep, hydration, and stress, the other main area that I touch upon with my clients is their nutritional habits/lifestyle. Why….because those things play a large role in pain, injury, and/or recovery.

And I am completely aware that I am not a nutritionist (and don’t pretend that I can be one) and I know I can’t answer specific, detailed, in-depth questions.  But, I do know enough that I can answer basic questions and offer some general advice and tips to help with someone’s overall health and/or recovery. If a client is looking for that more detailed answer/help, then I readily recommend they speak with a nutritionist.

With that being said, in my talks with my clients, I’ve realized that there is so much misinformation out there (even about the basic stuff).  So I figured I would share a few articles that I thought were well written and kept things simple – no crazy details, diet plans, etc.

These articles come from the nutrition section of Healthline’s website (https://www.healthline.com/nutrition?ref=global) – which I think is a great section to follow if you are interested in learning more real-life, actual info about nutrition.  I haven’t read up on their other sections, so I can’t comment on them.
